Making Music

This week we made music on the xylophones.

  It was exciting watching the cookies cook.  Milan like mixing the ingredients.

Discovery Time

Today at discovery time we made cookies.  We were in two groups and one group made cookies with sprinkles and one group made chocolate biscuits.
Nuku liked baking and his sprinkle cookies were the best.  Martha liked making the cookies, she said they were yummy.  Leighton liked eating the chocolate chunks.

Discovery time Week 2: Learning about popcorn

Today we learnt how popcorn is made.  We learnt that there are 6 different types of corn and that there is only one corn that will pop.  We saw how the popcorn is made in a factory.    We made popcorn using coconut oil and canola oil.  It was yummy!

Cats

Room 3 made these beautiful cats.  First we used recycled milk bottles and filled them with sand.   We then painted them white and after they dried we decorated them.
